Terms of use
Last updated: November 2026
These terms govern your use of the Ordo Block mobile app and the ordoblock.com website (together, "Ordo Block"), both provided by Retro Labs Design ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using Ordo Block, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Ordo Block.
What Ordo Block is – and isn't
Ordo Block is a self-help tool that adds a short pause before you open food-delivery apps, to help you order takeout less often. It is not medical advice, therapy, or a treatment for any eating disorder or other health condition, and it is not a substitute for professional care. If you are struggling with food, eating or your mental health, please speak with a qualified healthcare professional. Ordo Block is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any food-delivery service.
Eligibility
Ordo Block is intended for people aged 13 and over. By using it, you confirm you are old enough to enter into these terms in the place where you live.
Subscriptions, free trial and billing
- Ordo Block is offered as a paid subscription with a 3-day free trial, followed by an annual or monthly plan. The exact price for your country is shown on the plan screen and in Google Play before you are charged.
- Payment, renewal and cancellation are handled by Google Play Billing through your Google account. We never see or store your payment details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your Google Play account; if you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Cancel during the free trial and you will not be charged. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Ordo Block only for its intended personal purpose, and not to misuse it – for example, by attempting to copy, reverse-engineer, resell, or interfere with the app or the website, or to use them in any unlawful way.
Intellectual property
Ordo Block, including its name, design, graphics and content, is owned by Retro Labs Design and is protected by applicable laws. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you; you receive only a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose.
No warranty
Ordo Block is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work to keep it reliable, we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result such as reducing your spending or your ordering. The pause feature relies on your device's settings and permissions, which can be changed or reset by your phone, and may not catch every app on every device.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retro Labs Design is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, Ordo Block. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to Ordo Block and to these terms
We may update, change or discontinue features of Ordo Block over time, and we may update these terms – for example, as the app evolves. When we do, the updated terms will appear here with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use Ordo Block after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute relating to Ordo Block will be dealt with under those laws.
